Strategic hotel marketing in Amsterdam
Pulitzer Amsterdam

The marketing strategy case
The Pulitzer in Amsterdam teamed up with us to orchestrate the biggest transformation in its history. The renowned five-star hotel left Starwood Hotels and decided to invest in a major renovation and rebranding.
Rebranding
At the start, the hotel intertwined with the systems and structures of Starwood Hotels. Therefore, Orange Hotel Marketing first set up several new direct channels. Next to a new hotel website, our team activated Pulitzer’s brand differentiation strategy by developing websites for the various outlets, such as Jansz Restaurant, Café Pause, Pulitzer’s Bar and the yearly Prinsengracht Concert. Additionally, Orange Hotel Marketing took care of the photography, to let the world know that a stunning new hotel was born.

During and after the rebranding, our strategic consultants worked on the development of different tactical plans. This is how Orange’s marketeers were able to build various campaigns, a vast set of online content and a solid Digital Marketing plan. The fans of Pulitzer Amsterdam increasingly engaged with the hotel, as these tactics were rolled out across social media, search campaigns and different external channels.
Strategic alignment
Orange Hotel Marketing now works daily with the local marketing team of Lore Group to develop marketing innovations, including concepts for demand generation and conversion optimization.
